Department of Medicaid Services(DMS)

 Eastern Kentucky University’s Training Resource Center provides a contractor to offer liaison services with all Advocacy Groups contracting with the Department for Medicaid Services, including but not limited to the following: Protection and Advocacy; Association for Retarded Citizens; American Association of Retired Persons; The United 874K Coalition; Medicaid Consortium; Center for Accessible Living; Kentucky Council on Developmental Disabilities; The Arc of Kentucky; Kentucky Mental Health Coalition; Kentucky Rural Health Association; Mental Health Association of Kentucky; Kentucky Protection and Advocacy; Brain Injury Association of Kentucky; Advocates for Reforming Medicaid Services; Kentucky Youth Advocates; Epilepsy Foundation; Catholic Conference of Kentucky; Elder Serve of Dosker Manor; National Multiple Sclerosis Society—Kentucky Southeast Indiana Chapter; Alzheimer’s Association; National Alliance on Mental Illness; Commission on Services and Supports for Individuals with Mental Retardation and Other Developmental Disabilities; Kentuckians for Nursing Home Reform; Legal Aid of the Bluegrass; and Office of Legal Aid Services (Lexington and Louisville). In addition, this contractor will provide advice to Executive Staff on complex policy and operational issues, particularly those relating to Medicaid Services for individuals with disabilities; and facilitate workgroup problem solving process between the Cabinet and representatives of a variety of external constituencies.
