Data Entry and Tracking Problem List

Key Dates

• Week of April 14: Letter to all kinship care homes introducing the census
  mailed from Regional office
• April 21: Census list of children in out-of-home care will be set
• April 30: Data entry site will be ready for census point people to enter
  data and prepare and send out census forms
• May 7: The Child Census forms for five or so kinship care homes need to be
  in the mail so the homes can be assigned at the census taker training and
  visited starting on May 12.
• May 9-10: Training for the census takers
• May 12: Census visits begin
• May 23: Target date for all child census forms to be completed and mailed
  to foster homes and residential settings.
• August 1-2: Exit conference with preliminary results
